Resources for RetireesRetired surgeons comprise a tremendous resource of medical knowledge and experience. We recognize this and want to provide pertinent information for those retired surgeons who are interested in remaining active through volunteer activities. We understand that there are logistic and legal hurdles that may make it more difficult for retired physicians to participate as volunteers, and hope to provide insights on how these hurdles may be navigated.
We see this "Resource Center" as a central repository of such information that we hope serves to facilitate volunteerism among this valuable surgical cohort. Please feel free to provide any suggestions you may have on appropriate volunteerism resources for retired surgeons via the feedback form available in the "Contact Us" section. ___________________________________________________________________________
