Our trip to La Paz, Honduras from October 11-15, 2007 will begin on a Thursday morning when participating volunteers fly to Houston and meet the other team members at the Houston Airport.  Prior to the team arriving, our in-country partners, including local doctors, missionaries, and Lions Club members, will have pre-screened and evaluated potential patients with blood tests and physical exams.  Team members will begin evaluating patients upon arrival at the host hospital on Thursday afternoon and the surgical team may begin operating on patients as early as 3:30 or 4 p.m. that same afternoon.  The team will treat patients through Sunday and return to the US on Monday.

A typical team consists of Plastic Surgeons, ENT Surgeons, General Surgeons, or Orthopedic Surgeons, Dental, Chiropractic, and General Clinic personnel.  For our upcoming mission trip to La Paz, Honduras from October 11-15, 2007 we are looking for a surgeon of any specialty to join an ENT surgeon and other team members.
